Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791, was perhaps the greatest composer of music to ever live.

He died young, age only 35, but composed more than 800 pieces of music.

This is one of the most popular, known as “Rondo alla Turca” which he wrote for piano. Here it has been arranged for a brass instruments and played brilliantly by tenThing Brass Ensemble:

Hopefully, you noticed the four Trumpet players, four Trombone players, a French Horn player, and a Tuba player?

What did you think about the music?

How would you describe it?

How did it make you feel?

Note that there are no “correct” answers to these questions. How you feel about and react to music is an entirely personal experience, and your thoughts and reactions are as real and valid as anyone else’s.
